We are 770 Thrift in Eden, formerly Bargain Basement in Ridgeway, Va.
We started as a family business 12 years ago with just me, my mom and my son Shayne. I considered giving this up when we lost Shayne to a tragic car accident 7 years ago, and again 5 years ago when mom passed (she really loved the store and especially the people).
We are still a family business as I have added "family" members over the years. Some have moved on to bigger and better(?) things, but they're still family to me.
I couldn't do this without our current family: Chuck, Diana and their sons Sean and Deon, and also Tammy. My wife Leslye helps out when she has time from her nursing job as well as our sons Ryan and Corey.
We get most of our product from storage unit auctions, so if it fits in a storage building of garage, we either have it, had it or will have it in the future.
Stop by and check us out, I'm sure you'll find something interesting. And, since we're bringing in truck loads weekly, probably something different each time.
