John and Michele Shaver have been buying storage units and other collectibles for years and selling at auctions. One of their dreams was to open a store. On December 10, 2022 that dream became a reality and Hidden Treasure was opened across the road from M-M Recreation Center. The business quickly out grew the building and the business was moved to the current location in the Mayodan Shoping Center in July 2023. The store offers a wide variety of merchandise from Antiques, Collectibles, New & Used Clothing, Vintage Clothing, Glassware, Gifts, Children's Toys, Books, Electronics, Tools, Figurines and much more.

There is a reason it is called the Hidden Treasure. You never know what may show up in the store that was put away in a storage building. Lots of clothes, old coins, jewelry, bicylecs and other items are available. Stop by to see if you can find your hidden treasure.
We have outside tables available for hand crafted items, produce, etc, Contact us for pricing and details. Also keep an eye out for the $5.00 per bag special at the back of the store. Except for items marked differently.
